My Gratitude Journal

Just a quick update to this page. I have found an app, which I have been using for 19 days now (I have a streak of 19 days too!) that will help you stay on track with your gratitude habit. It's called, very simply, the Gratitude app. It doesn't look for you to sign up or to upload your personal information. All your entries stay on your phone, guaranteeing your privacy. I really liked that feature. It's simpe and effecitve! Here is the icon for it, so you know you have the right one:
Hi my lovely people
As promised, I am creating a page where we can all write what we are grateful for so that we can cultivate joy in our lives. Gratitude and joy go hand in hand - you can't have one without the other. So let's get practising!
Today, I am grateful for the fact that I feel good. I have no pain and my energy levels are up. Yay!
I am also grateful for the hugs my boys have given me all throughout the day. My eldest is sick at the moment so I'm taking the opportunity to get as many hugs from him as possible. He loves hugs when he's not well. Of course then when Mark sees his older brother giving mam hugs, he obliges too!
I am grateful for the peace in our house today. There were no fights or bad feelings. Everyone was chilled out and kind to each other. Thank you God for that.
I am grateful for being allowed to help a sickly cat. We bathed her and dried her and made her comfortable. She is slowly beginning to trust us.
I am grateful for a warm, cosy house for my family. There is a housing crisis in Ireland at the moment and many people/families are homeless this close to Christmas. So, I am really grateful for having a safe, warm comfortable place to call home. I really can't imagine how hard it must be for those families.
